The guests'' lounge is quiet and restful, with log fires in the winter, a peaceful retreat for weary guests. There is free wifi, walking books and maps and comfortable sofas. Whether your stay is part of a touring holiday, you have come for a wedding at Blair Castle or just to visit friends, Dalgreine B & B is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The accomodation includes kingsize, double and twin bedrooms with en-suite facilities. Our double/twin and single standard rooms provide flexible combinations for families or groups. All rooms are bright and comfortable with flatscreen TV / DVD, hospitality trays, hairdryers and toiletries for your convenience. Free wireless internet is available to guests.
Dalgreine also boasts a tranquil mature garden with seating areas for guests use. There are places to relax and read a book, watch or feed the many birds, but please note that weeding is optional for all guests.
We are located in the picturest highland Perthshire village of Blair Atholl, ideally located at the Gateway to the Cairngorms National Park and just six miles north of Pitlochry. Blair Castle, the ancestral home of the Dukes of Atholl, famous for its unique army of Atholl Highlanders, is within easy walking distance of the Guest House. Blair Atholl offers a scenic nine hole golf course, spectactular hill walking, cycling, fishing, shooting, pony trekking and mountain biking. There are bars and restaurants close by for you to enjoy at your leisure.
We are also on the Lands End to John o Groats route and ideally placed for both walkers and cyclists as well as those enjoying the classic walking and biking through Glen Tilt, the Minigaig or Gaick passes.
We offer weekend Pitlochry Theatre breaks which you can combine with a relaxing weekend in Blair Atholl with scenic walks at Killiecrankie and visits to House of Bruar or Blair Castle.
We provide ample private parking, including secure storage for bikes and full facilities for hillwalkers, including early breakfasts and packed lunches on request.
Dalgreine Guest House is a 4 Star Visit Scotland rated Bed and Breakfast establishment. Welcoming walkers, cyclists, mountain bikers, golfers and anglers with full facilites for all. Sorry we do not allow pets at Dalgreine and for the comfort of all our guests, no smoking is permitted.
